3, 2, 1, in… go outside after dark with one flashlight. Choose a wall on the house and decide on an area to be base. One person is “Guard” - he or she gets the flashlight. They are the one to protect the wall. All others are “Runners”. The Guard turns towards the wall and counts to 20. The Runners - run and hide in the yard. When the Guard shouts “ready” the Runners have to advance on the wall and touch it saying “3,2,1, in.” The Guard can use his or her flashlight - if they shine it on a Runner they have to freeze until the flashlight moves on to someone else. The winner is the person who touches the wall and says “3,2,1, in” before the Guard’s flashlight reaches them. At any point if the Guard actually touches the Runner before they reach the wall that Runner is out of the game.
