Have fun without screens and compete in the OVB Community challenge.

How does this work ?

Download the record book below.
Read the instruction for each challenge on this site.
Find a timer (your phone) and a measuring tape.
Start taking the challenges.
Write the results on the record book
Submit your child's first name, their age and country and the challenge and results. You have until July 15th to add or update scores.

Bonus -

Attach a photo of your child competing for our photo gallery.
Or invent a new challenge for the OVB community.
Challenge your friends and family to beat your records and become part of the OVB community.

How long can you juggle two balls ?

Any type of balls. When a ball is dropped time starts again.

most balls juggled (rule is for 23 consecutive catches): 11 balls
Longest time 3 balls have been juggled: 12 hours 3 mins.

2. How many CD's or DVD's can you balance on one finger ?

Balance for 5 seconds placed one at a time finger must not go through hole.

Fun fact Guinness book of records record is : 227.

3. How many times can you run up and down eight stairs in one minute ?

Up and down counts as one time.

Fun fact Fastest time to run up the Empire state building was 9 min 33 sec and 11min.23 sec for a woman. 1576 stairs 86 flights.

4. How many T-shirts can you put on in one minute ?

T-shirts must be layered on top of each other. Put on one at a time.

5. Your fastest time to type the alphabet backwards ? Each letter must have a space after it.

From memory no help, written or oratory.

6. Most M&M's skittles or smarties eaten in one minute while blindfolded with chopsticks. Must be eaten one at a time.

7. Furthest distance to blow a pea.

On a flat surface, one breath no props.

8. Furthest distance to fly a a paper airplane.

Made by you using one piece of uncut A4 paper only.

Measured from start to landing point.

9. How many legos can you stack zigzagged with one hand in one minute.

Must be made out of equal-sized individual bricks, which only half overlap the brick below. And of course with one hand only. (Same hand)

10. Most socks put on one foot in 30 seconds.

Socks must be layered on top of one another. Put on one foot one at a time.

11. Most playing cards stacked in a tower in two minutes.

Cards counted are those still standing after the timer goes off.

12. How many books can you balance on your head while walking 6 yards (5 ½ meters) and returning to the start point.

Bonus how many times can you do the 6 yards ?

Competitor must walk 6 yards there and 6 yards back one time (turning around at end). No hands or assistance at any time. All books counted must have stayed on competitors head the entire time.
